Many trees were downed in central Chippewa County, mainly 10 miles either side of I-75. Power outages were widespread. Two heavy rabbit hutches were blown over.

Strong winds lingered in Eastern Upper Michigan from May 31st. With soils still quite wet, scattered tree damage and power outages continued sporadically into the late morning hours of the 1st.

Wind gusts, measured as high as 45 mph at Kinross, combined with wet soil conditions to down trees and cause scattered power outages across Eastern Upper Michigan. This continued into June 1st.
