Thunderstorm Wind. A tree was reportedly blown down onto power line along Colts Fork Road near Elkatawa.

Thunderstorm Wind. Multiple trees were blown down onto a power line and the ground near the intersection of KY-15 S and KY-30 (between the Shell Gas Station and Hutch Automotive). Power outage led to several hours of traffic disruption due to lack to traffic signals. The report stated that power was still out at the stoplight around 8 am and multiple highway department personel were managing traffic.

Ice Storm. Ice accumulation on a power line near Wilhurst caused the power line and power pole to catch on fire. This occurred near the junction of Highways 205 and 1812.
