Max gust recorded at station KSUW, the Superior Airport. The high winds toppled trees and caused power outages. One large pine tree fell on a house in Superior and caused significant roof damage to the home.

Thunderstorms developed during the afternoon hours of the 23rd ahead of a warm front moving across the region. While most of the storms across northwest Wisconsin remained below severe limits, one storm did produce isolated tree damage and power outages in Douglas County.
