Two lines of thunderstorms tracked through southeast Michigan during the early morning hours. Scattered severe thunderstorms were embedded in each line. Damaging winds brought down trees and lead to power outages, especially hard hit was Bay, Oakland, and Livingston counties.

Strong to severe thunderstorms moved across southeast Michigan between 4-8 PM EDT, with wind gusts between 40-50 mph and isolated gusts to 60 mph. This resulted in isolated reports of downed trees and powerlines.
