Winter Storm. Precipitation started as rain during the afternoon of January 24th before changing over to snow during the late afternoon, with the snow then continuing into the morning of January 25th. Widespread snow amounts between 5.7 and 8 inches fell across the county. A trained spotter report of a measured storm total of 8.0 inches of snow was received from 5 miles ESE of Seymour, with a measured 7.5 inches in Rogersville, 7.0 inches in Diggins, and a COOP report of 5.7 inches northwest of Marshfield. Roads became snow covered and slippery. Around 1000 power outages also occurred across the county due to the heavy snow. Some schools had early release on January 24th, with numerous schools closed on January 25th.

Winter Storm. This is a continuation of the storm from December 31, 2020. The cooperative observer 2 miles north northeast of Northview reported radial ice accretion on tree limbs between 0.20 and 0.25 inches. This converts to between 0.50 and 0.63 inches of flat ice accretion. Some power outages were reported across the county.

Winter Weather. Radial ice accretion in Seymour and around the county on tree limbs and power lines of 0.10 inches in which converts to a flat ice measurement of approximately 0.25 inches.
