Winter Weather. Precipitation started as rain during the afternoon of January 24th before changing over to snow during the late afternoon, with the snow then continuing into the morning of January 25th. Widespread snow amounts between 3 to just over 5 inches fell across the county. A public report of a measured storm total of 5.3 inches of snow was received from Buffalo. Roads became snow covered and slippery. Around 860 power outages also occurred across the county due to the snow. Some schools had early release on January 24th, with numerous schools closed on January 25th.

Thunderstorm Wind. Numerous trees were reported down or uprooted. A power line was also reported down.

Winter Storm. This is a continuation of the storm from December 31, 2020. Emergency Manager reported a flat ice accumulation of 0.25 inches on elevated objects in the city of Buffalo. Elsewhere, widespread flat ice accumulations between 0.25 and 0.50 inches were reported via public across the county. Utility companies reported power outages due to ice coated limbs falling on power lines.
