Mt Zion Power Outages Caused by Weather
Events
Damaging winds associated with the rear flank downdraft of a strong thunderstorm created a swath of wind damage across parts of Mt. Zion. Shingle and siding damage occurred to a number of homes in the area. Power poles were broken off, portable sheds and outbuildings were destroyed, and the metal roof of a car wash was peeled back.
A few power poles were snapped.
