Tornado. A brief tornado touched down along County Road 17 approximately 9 miles north of Bushnell, NE. A roof of an old barn was torn off and exterior walls collapsed (DI 1, DOD 6). An auger cart and auger were tipped. Power poles broke near the farm.

Thunderstorm Wind. Downburst wind gusts were estimated as high as 90 mph. There was extensive damage to trees and power poles, with power outages reported. Two buildings were damaged north of Kimball at Highway 71.
