A path of wind damage occurred across southwest Clark County from east of Humbird to near Globe. Most of the damage was uprooted or snapped trees but the roof was ripped off a metal pole shed and a wooded power pole was broken.

A line of thunderstorms moved across north-central Wisconsin during the late afternoon of April 20th. The strong winds from these storms blew down trees and power lines across the northern sections of Clark County and in the Neillsville area (Clark County).
A late season winter storm hit portions of north central Wisconsin with ice. The coating of ice, up to a quarter of an inch thick, mainly coated elevated exposed surfaces. The icing did create some power outages in Thorp (Clark County). After the freezing rain ended, a period of snow occurred with accumulations of 1 to 2 inches. The highest reported snow total was 1.7 inches near Owen (Clark County).
Outflow winds from dissipated thunderstorms caused damage across portions of northern Clark County in the late evening hours of June 14th. Numerous trees and power lines were blown down north of a line from Rock Dam Lake campground (Clark County) to Loyal (Clark County). Scattered power outages were reported over the northern parts of the county and one road was closed.
Two people were directly injured and an indirect death occurred from an EF2 tornado near Chili (Clark County) during the late afternoon of August 23rd. The death occurred when an oxygen machine stopped working due to a power outage caused by the tornado. The tornado destroyed four homes, damaged close to 20 others and destroyed numerous farm buildings. Damages from the tornado are estimated to be around $1.5 million.
