A large tree was knocked onto power lines resulting in 41 power outages in Oldtown, ID. The storm also downed numerous trees across the Priest Lake Ranger District of western Bonner County. An incident management team was put together to quickly assess and manage hazards discovered in developed campgrounds and recreation sites throughout the national forest given the approaching Labor Day holiday. Based on the incident map, Navigation, Trapper, Geisinger, Plowboy, and Beaver Creek were among the sites that required hazardous tree removal.
