The fire department reported numerous twelve to sixteen inch diameter tree limbs down throughout Odeboldt, blocking roads and knocking out power. A few of the limbs were reported to have rotten centers.
Damage swath observed from east of Odebolt through the Early area, to the east side of Lake View. Numerous power poles down, roof blown off outbuildings, turkey, and hog confinements buildings, and boats were thrown at a dealership.
Tornado moved northeast for nearly 4 miles before abruptly turning north northwest for the remainder of the path. Lots of debris and power outages. Numerous homes damaged or destroyed.
