Numerous ice reports from the public and power outages. Maximum of 0.33 inches of flat ice reported.

January 20, 2010 - Ice Storm

Freezing rain accumulated between 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch over much of the county. Although winds weren't particularly strong, the weight of the ice caused scattered tree damage which took down power lines and knocked the power out in some areas. Some people, mainly in rural areas, remained without power until the 25th. Several schools in the area also closed.

December 1, 2007 - Ice Storm

Freezing rain accumulated between 1/4 and 1/2 of an inch over much of the county. The icing downed tree limbs and caused scattered power outages.

June 9, 2003 - Thunderstorm Wind

Thunderstorm wind gusts estimated at around 60 mph downed some large tree limbs and power lines in town. A house northeast of town received major damage when a tree fell on it.
