Crews work to restore power after high winds cause outages
The local outages were part of a larger wind event that resulted in more than 125,000 outages to Consumers Energy customers, one of the state's largest power providers.
Storm knocks out power, downs limbs in St. Joseph County
The city of Sturgis on Monday afternoon reported crews were working to resolve two outages in its service area, including one north of town.

Those storms reached Michigan by 8 p.m. and at 8:29 p.m. St. Joseph County was placed under a severe thunderstorm warning.
