An NWS Storm Survey noted wind damage occurred to the east of the Rayne Tornado in association with the rear flank downdraft of the parent supercell. Several pine trees were snapped along both sides of Interstate 10 up to two miles east of the tornado path. A mobile home lost shingles on Meche Road, and a nearby automobile was damaged by a flying trampoline. Power lines were also blown down in the area.

Enough taxes are paid in this state to bring in 24 hour electrical workers, it doesn’t go to the roads or schools! It goes in these peoples pockets, you need to vote in some new people!!!!
It wouldn’t surprise me if it takes another week , it doesn’t fix itself.
I live right around the Kennedy field near Rayne High and our power is still out right now and have been hearing rumors of up to 5 more days which I don’t want to believe. Anyone have some better answers?
