Iowa power grid in normal conditions despite heat

A spokesperson for the company told KCCI that Midcontinent Independent System Operator did issue a hot weather alert for Wednesday, but only for the South Region states.

from 1 am to sometime around 7:30am we got power back on now, it was no power during the sleeping time in the morning, I heard this was a wide power outage in our area of Redding, my parents reported it by phone.
