Power outages continue on the Southside, 1,900 without power | WSET

DANVILLE, Va. (WSET) - There are multiple reports of widespread power outages on the SouthsideThursday morning, Oct. 29. As of 9:00 pm on Oct. 29, 1,900 are still without power, according to Arnold Hendrix, the Danville Public Information officer. Hendrix stated it will not be until Friday before service is restored for a majority of residents. Crews from Rocky Mount, N. C. will arrive Friday morning to assist in getting the power back on.
