Thunderstorm wind gusts estimated at over 60 mph downed a few large trees and power poles in town.

The second supercell in less than an hour passed through northern Monona county producing wind damage around Rodney. This time winds were estimated at over 70 mph as several trees were downed. The trees knocked down three power poles, and also caused damage to a few homes.
