Power outage affects more than 1,500 in area - Houghton Lake Resorter
Some Consumers Energy customers in Roscommon County woke up Wednesday morning without power. Consumers Energy Spokesperson Terry DeDoes said 1,547 customers were affected by a power interruption that occurred at 12:10 a.m. He said the cause of the outage was trees on lines, most likely from Tuesday evening’s ice storm that passed through the county.
