Eastern U.P. Electricity Rates To Go Up in 2023 - St. Ignace News
Electricity rates will go up 5.4% for residential and general service in January 2023. Large businesses and government will see a 4.0% increase. Cloverland Electric Cooperative’s Board of Directors approved the increases Wednesday, September 28. Inflation impacting vendors, contractors, and suppliers has caused cost increases for wire and transformers, according to Cloverland’s President and CEO
