March 26, 2021 - High Wind

Power outages across the county peaked over 1000 with several reports of trees and powerlines downed due to the strong gradient winds.

November 14, 2018 - Ice Storm

Power was reported to be out in numerous locations across the county due to power lines snapping from the weight of the ice accumulations. It is estimated that at least a quarter of an inch of ice accumulation occurred. Power was restored to most of the county by 10:30 AM EST.

December 20, 2012 - High Wind

Power lines were reported down in nearby Bloomington due to high, non-thunderstorm damaging wind gusts. At least 125 power outages were reported from across county.

Approximately one quarter inch of additional ice accumulation from freezing rain was received. Scattered power outages were also noted.
