Stuart Power Outages Caused by Weather
Events
Tornado developed east southeast of Bagley and did no damage until near the county line where an aging power pole was snapped. The tornado path was also visible in high resolution satellite imagery. The tornado moved into Greene County.
Emergency manager reported numerous instances across Guthrie County to the Adair County line of wind damage. This included 40x60 machine shed roof taken off 4 miles SW of Panora, power lines down in Jamaica from blown over tree, power lines down in Stuart due to tree damage.
Public reported tree branches cracking and power surges. Report came in via social media with thickness estimated at 0.25 inches.

A garage was destroyed. Garage doors were open and the wind lifted the garage off the foundation and rolled it east into grain bins, damaging the bins as well. Two power poles were snapped along Highway 4 just south of the garage.
