Many trees and power poles were blown down across western Jackson County. Tree damage was reported in and around the cities of Taylor, York, and Northfield. This caused power outages to many towns and rural customers. Also, 3.90 inches of rain was measured in the city of Taylor between 5:25 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. CST.
