Thunderstorm Wind. A strong downburst of winds from a thunderstorm resulted in straight line wind damage across the town of Baird. These damaging thunderstorm winds uprooted large trees, blew down power lines and removed a few roofs from buildings. Most of the damage was blown to the north and northeast direction across the City of Baird. The damaging winds also damaged a feed mill in Baird.

High Wind. A RAWS station located 2 miles south southeast of Hamby measured a non-thunderstorm wind gust of 59 mph. According to Taylor Electric Cooperative, 3 power poles were knocked down by the high winds.

Thunderstorm Wind. The Cross Plains fire department reported numerous trees down or uprooted. The largest tree was 28 inches in diameter and 30 feet long. Power lines were also down.
