A tree was blown down, onto a power line.
Widespread straight-line winds that produced extensive damage were reported throughout Washington County, associated with a derecho. These winds lasted around an hour in total at any one location, even though the initial line of storms moved out quickly. Damaging straight-line winds continued and were associated with the rear inflow jet. Maximum wind speeds were estimated to be 60 to 80 MPH. These estimates were determined based off damage reports and photos submitted through social media. The duration of strong winds caused extensive damage to some trees, powerlines, crops, and a few structures in their path. The widespread damage also resulted in long duration power outages.
A NWS COOP Observer reported 5 inches of snow in 4 miles east of Wellman, Iowa. Significant blowing and drifting snow was widespread over the area with white out conditions at times lingering through the day of February 12. Power outages from down power lines, power poles, and tree branch damage were widespread.
Tornado was rated was an EF-1 with peak winds of 110 mph, a path length of 5.95 miles, and a max width of 40 yards. This tornado spun up and tracked rapidly to the northeast. The tornado damaged numerous farm outbuildings, power lines and trees along its path.
The tornado began near 120th street near Wayland in Henry County and moved into Washington County near Noble and lifted near Crawfordsville. The tornado was on the ground for approximately 10 minutes in Washington County. Damage along the path of the tornado included: several farm outbuildings destroyed, roof damage to homes, trees snapped, and power poles damaged. The most severe damage occurred near and to the northeast of Noble (Washington County) where several turkey farms sustained extensive damage and two large wooden truss power poles were snapped off. Two homes between Noble and Crawfordsville had the roof removed as well as the exterior walls on the upper floor. One of the homes had a car lofted and tumbled across the yard.

The second tornado of a cyclic supercell produced a brief touchdown south southwest of Riverside. A deputy observed the tornado and discovered power poles and lines down at the intersection of County W61 (Riverside Road) and Spruce Avenue.
