Williamsport Power Outages Caused by Weather
Events
Several large tree limbs knocked down due to non-thunderstorm wind gusts near Pine Village. An unknown number of homes were also without power during this time.
Accumulating ice had many roads impassable. Many vehicles were abandoned. Spotty power outages were also observed.
A nearby report of a semi-truck blown over on Interstate 65, west of Frankfort, due to high, non-thunderstorm damaging wind gusts. A few power outages were reported from southwest portions of the county.
Damaging thunderstorm wind gusts blew barns, farm equipment, and trees over. Power lines were also reported down. Multiple roads were blocked due to debris and the trees that were downed.
