Law enforcement reported damage in a 15-mile wide swath from southwest of Belmont to Woodford from thunderstorm wind gusts estimated at 75 mph (65 knots). Downed trees blocked roads and fallen power lines caused power outages in the towns of Belmont, Argyle and Darlington. Six homes were damaged, and a 100-year-old 38 foot by 100 foot barn was flattened on a farm near Argyle, damaging a tractor inside.
