A National Weather Service storm survey crew found evidence of a tornado in a much wider swath of straight line wind damage. The tornado occurred in a one mile path approximately 4 miles southeast of Aledo, between River Ranch Road and Farm to Market Road 1187 in Parker County. The tornado did minimal damage to trees and power lines.
A storm spotter reported a brief touchdown about six to seven miles north of Aledo on Farmer Road. The tornado was on the ground for about a minute as it moved due east. Power flashes were reported in association with the tornado.
