Burbank Power Outages Caused by Weather
Events
A tornado that developed over northeastern Noble County continued into western Osage County, where it damaged several homes, uprooted or snapped numerous trees, and blew down power poles. The estimated peak wind in the tornado based on this damage was 110 mph.
Strong thunderstorm wind destroyed a mobile home. Five people were injured inside the mobile home when the storm hit. Three of those injured received serious injuries requiring hospitalization. Several large trees were snapped or uprooted by the wind and power lines and poles were blown down.
