A line of severe thunderstorms producing winds of 80 mph moved across northwestern Duplin county. Roofs were blown off of 2 residences and 2 turkey houses were destroyed by the high wind near NC 43 in Calypso. Trees and power lines were knocked down in Faison and Bowdens.
