Local police reported a large tree in Dobbs Ferry was knocked over during this storm. Local newspapers reported a path of downed trees, tree limbs and power lines that stretched from the Hudson River to Long Island Sound across central Westchester County. As a result, about 20,000 residents in the county lost power.
