Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) has announced a planned power outage for portions or eastern Shasta County and northwest Lassen County on Tuesday, April 12. The outage will impact customers in Fall River Mills, McArthur, Bieber, Nubieber and Little Valley. About 4,000 customers will lose power starting around 11 p. m. Tuesday and the outage will last until around 7 a. m. Wednesday. The outage is taking place so PG&E workers can perform work on a substation in Fall River Mills.
