Farmington Power Outages Caused by Weather

June 7, 2014 - Thunderstorm Wind

The macroburst containing winds up to 95 mph followed a path roughly parallel to Highway 121 across eastern Graves County. The damage path width was just over three miles. Widespread damage occurred in the Sedalia and Farmington areas. The roof was blown off a home. A large metal machine shed was partially unroofed. A number of large oak trees were blown down. A power pole was snapped along State Route 1890. Outdoor furniture was lifted off a deck and blown onto a roadway. The damage path continued into Calloway County.

Power restored for more than 3,000 in Albuquerque Open Navigation Close Navigation

PNM's website appears to be currently down, and there is no way to view the outage map. However, their Twitter said the following areas are included in the outage: La Orilla Northwest (North), Duerksen Road Northwest (South), Winterhaven Road Northwest (East), and Unser Boulevard (West).
