A severe thunderstorm tore down several trees in Robeson Township. A 10-year-old boy was injured when a tree toppled onto a building at the camp behind High Point Baptist Church on Chapel Road. The boy was outside and was hit by one of the branches when the tree came down. He was taken to Reading Hospital with a cut to his head and a possible shoulder injury. About 7,000 Berks County residents lost power.
