A thunderstorm went through Syringa and the Apgar Campground, northeast of Lowell. A weather spotter reported trees down along US Highway-12 from Apgar Campground to just downstream of Swan Creek. The spotter also mentioned roof damage in Syringa and a power outage from Syringa to the Selway River.

Numerous trees were downed by strong winds in the east Kamiah area. Idaho Power and Light reported outages lasting 16 to 24 hours. In Kamiah, wind lifted a 40-foot wide roof into a neighbors yard.
A spotter reported a pine tree with a diameter of 2.5 feet snapped in half from the strong wind. They estimated the wind gust to be 60 mph. Also power was reported out for 13 hours.

Monsoon moisture moved up across a very hot atmosphere sparking showers and thunderstorms across central Idaho. The storms were mainly dry and produced a microburst over Kamiah and into Woodland. Trees were ripped out all across town which caused widespread power outages. The City of Kamiah declared a Disaster Declaration due to the volume of trees that fell across town. Kamiah is across the Clearwater River from NWS Missoula's County Warning Area, but the damage extended into Clearwater County as well.
Unusual evere thunderstorms in the morning and early afternoon brought damaging winds and hail to portions of North Central Idaho. Several large trees were knocked down in Idaho County, causing some power outages. Penny sized hail covered the ground in Cottonwood. A roof was blown off a house in Salmon as the result of strong thunderstorm winds.
Strong summer storm brought both severe winds and hail to Northwest Idaho County. Bulk of damage occurred from Grangeville to Fenn. Four power poles were knocked down with hail reported as large as 1.25 inches. Wind gusts measured to 70 mph caused a roof to be ripped off a barn, which then collapsed onto farm equipment. The roof was also ripped off of the Grangeville Public Works building. Extensive crop damage was also reported on the Camas Prairie.
Strong thunderstorm produced damaging winds and heavy rain. A 10 mile stretch of Highway 14 between Grangeville and Elk City had downed trees and power lines with branches and large rocks on the road between mile markers 17 and 29.
Line of thunderstorms caused wind damage in Idaho County, from Riggins to Grangeville, Cottonwood and Kooskia. In Riggins, 60 mph winds downed power lines and a roof was blown off. 60 mph winds downed trees in Grangeville and Cottonwood, temporarily closing US HWY 95. A transformer fire was started in Grangeville from downed power lines. 10 miles east of Grangeville, a barn roof was blown off, and trees were snapped in half. In Kooskia, 60 mph winds damaged a carport. In Clearwater County, 60 mph winds blew off a roof of a home, and downed trees and power lines.
