Green Creek Power Outages Caused by Weather

June 21, 2016 - Thunderstorm Wind

A microburst occurred with a thunderstorm in Green Creek with winds of 70-80 MPH. The path width of the microburst was 200 yards with a path length of 1/2 mile. Damage was concentrated on Burleigh Road with several downed, snapped or uprooted. Damage also occurred to several power poles and lines on the street.||Other damage located in the region included damage to a Home Dept HVAC system and a flipped plane at the Cape May County Airport.
