April 1, 2023 - High Wind

In West Hamlin, trees and power lines were blown down and resulted in over 11,000 households to be without power.

March 25, 2023 - Strong Wind

In and around Hamlin, several trees and power lines were blown down throughout the afternoon. A carport was uplifted and became entangled in power lines. A local mesonet measured a 40 mph gust during a time some of these trees were observed to have fallen.
