A snapped power line was reported near the intersection of U.S. Highway 41 and Highway 68.

The tornado crossed into Gibson County from Vanderburgh County near Interstate 64. At a farm north of Interstate 64, a house was severely damaged and four barns were destroyed. In Haubstadt, power poles were snapped off at the base. Peak winds were estimated near 125 mph. The average path width was 100 yards.

A few trees were blown down around Owensville and near Haubstadt. A large healthy tree was uprooted near County Road 450 South in southwest Gibson County. The tree completely blocked the road and took down power lines, knocking out power for 8 to 10 hours.
