February 1, 2011 - High Wind

An arctic cold front moved through South Central Texas and produced high winds estimated at 50-70 mph. These winds caused substantial roof damage to a restaurant and convenience store near Kingsland and knocked down trees and power poles in eastern Llano County, Burnet, and LBJ State Park.
