NWS storm surveyed a tornado which occurred 12 miles north of Pampa at 614 pm CDT before it lifted at 628 pm CDT 15 miles NNW of Codman. The tornado damaged powerlines north of Pampa, with a damage path that was over 9 miles long and 50 yards wide. Tornado was given an EF-1 rating.
The tornado touched down in northern Roberts County around 659 pm CDT, crossed the Roberts/Ochiltree county line around 704 pm CDT and the Ochiltree/Lipscomb county line around 719 pm CDT before dissipating through a rope out process by 733 pm CDT. Damage from the tornado consisted mostly of damage to trees, power lines and |oil/natural gas field equipment and sheds. There was also two manufactured homes being transported via truck the were blown off Highway 83. The tornado was noted to be larger and possibly stronger in inaccessible open county to the southwest of|the location where it was measured to be around 1/2 mile wide and rated an EF2 by the survey team.

Some trees were debarked and completely defoliated leaving only the trunks. The collapse of a high tension power line metal truss tower is the basis for the EF-3 rating. Maximum winds were estimated to be 140 mph.

The FM 283 Wildfire began around 1445CST about three miles northwest of Miami Texas in Roberts County. There was one home threatened but was saved, however there were no homes or other structures damaged or destroyed by the wildfire. There was one near miss and there was one injury reported, however there were no reports of any fatalities. The wildfire consumed approximately two thousand five hundred and thirty-six acres. The cause of the wildfire was reported to be from downed power lines. There were a total of sixteen fire departments and other fire agencies that responded to the wildfire including the Texas A&M Forest Service and the wildfire was contained around 1935CST.
The Rankin Ranch Road Wildfire began around 1629CST about ten miles north northwest of Codman Texas in Roberts County. The wildfire was caused by downed power lines and consumed an estimated sixty-thousand acres. There were no reports of any homes or other structures threatened, damaged or destroyed by the wildfire and there were also no reports of any injuries or fatalities. There were a total of ten fire departments and other agencies that responded to the wildire including the Texas A&M Forest Service. The wildfire was contained by 0100CST on March 24.
The Kim Flowers Power Line wildfire began approximately 2022 CST about fourteen miles north northwest of Miami in north central Roberts County...or just east of Farm Market Road 283 southeast of the intersection with Texas Highway 70. Approximately four hundred and ten acres were burned. Although no structural damage and no injuries were reported...one home was saved. The cause of the wildfire was determined to be from power lines. A total of eight fire departments responded to the wildfire which was contained by 2400 CST.

A combination sleet and freezing rain led to light ice accumulations which caused hazardous driving conditions the morning of Monday, October 26th. Isolated sleet accumulaitons just under 1/2 inch occurred in a narrow band across the county. Freezing rain created problems of downed trees and power lines across the county with ice accumulations ranging from 0.25 inches to 0.50 inches during the late hours of the 27th. Where the higher range of these amounts were located in the southern portion of the county adjacent to Gray County. An additional 4 to 6 inches of snow fell on the evening of the 28th with the higher amounts located across the central to northern portions of the county.
