Trained spotters, law enforcement officers, and emergency management reported 60 to 70 mph wind gusts near Milford Lake in Geary County. In Junction City power lines and transformers were damaged.
Several trees and power lines down.
The tornado mentioned above entered Geary county at 4:34 pm 5 miles southsouthwest of Milford and moved northeast across Lake Milford before dissipating 3 miles east of the town of Milford. A powerline substation was destroyed along with a 5,100 square foot maintenance facility near Lake Milford. A farmstead along the path of the tornado suffered considerable damage.
Strong winds destroyed a doublewide and blew down trees and power lines.

THE POWER HAS BEEN OUT ON MY STREET ONLY IN MILFORD, OHIO, SINCE YESTERDAY AFTERNOON. A CREW LOOKED AT THE OUTSIDE POWER LINES WITH FLASHLIGHTS ABOUT 10 P.M. We're in Milford, Ca. In the Honey Lake RV park and the power went out about a half hour ago! Is this temporary or a planned outage? Theres no wind!!
