Recent Weather Related Causes of Power Outages in St. Charles County
Thunderstorm Wind. Widespread tree damage across St. Charles County. Numerous tree limbs, trees and power lines were blown down in Wentzville, Lake St. Louis, O'Fallon, Saint Peters, Weldon Spring, Cottleville, Harvester, Saint Charles and Orchard Farms. A large wooden fence was blown over in O'Fallon. Also, a large tree was blown onto a house in St. Peters causing moderate roof damage.

Tornado. After crossing back into St. Charles County there was additional tree damage, broken power poles, and structural damage noted along Greens Bottom Road. The tornado crossed the Missouri River a third and final time, back into St. Louis County traveling across Highway 364 and north of the Creve Coeur Airport.

Thunderstorm Wind. Widespread damaging winds across the western portions of St. Charles County. Numerous trees, tree limbs and power lines were blown down. One large tree was blown down onto W. Meyer Road in Wentzville. Also, several trees were blown down near the intersection of Mexico Road and Belleau Creek Road, and the intersection of Highways K and N. A tree and power line were blown down over Highway DD near intersection with Highway 94.

Thunderstorm Wind. Damaging thunderstorm winds moved from north to south across the western portions of St. Charles County. At the intersection of Highway T and Highway D, several power poles were snapped off. A large tree was blown down near the intersection of Lake St. Louis Boulevard and Locksley Manor Drive. A tree and power lines were knocked down near the intersection of Sonderen Street and E. Elm Street. Also, a large tree was blown down on to Highway 94 just northeast of Defiance.
