Trained spotters reported significant ice accretion resulting in numerous accidents, downed trees and power lines, and power outages throughout the county.
A power line and pole were blown down in the 2000 block of WV-259. A tree blew down near the intersection of Old WV-55 and Old Baker Road. A tree blew down on Middle Fork Road.
Wind gusts of up to 65 mph were measured, with the highest gust reported near Lost River. There were also reports of downed trees and power lines.
Trees were down on power lines near South Forks.
There were about one hundred trees down and two campers were damaged. There were trees and power lines down between the 5000-8000 Block of South Fork Road.
