Power Outage in Owensville, MO

Thunderstorm winds caused damage across the southern portions of Gasconade County. Several large trees were blown down as well as tree limbs and power lines. One large tree fell across Highway 19 about 4 miles northwest of Oak Hill.

Thunderstorm winds blew down numerous trees, tree limbs and power lines between Owensville and Rosebud.

A line of severe thunderstorms moved through Owensville damaging 13 buildings. The damage was minor, i.e. shingles and siding. Also, a trailer and a garage sustained moderate damage. Several large trees were blown over as well as numerous tree limbs and a couple of power lines. No injuries were reported.

Thunderstorm wind gusts destroyed a shed at a farm and downed some trees and power lines along Highway 19 near Drake. Debris from the shed caused minor roof damage to the home.

Thunderstorm wind gusts downed trees in a west to east swath across the south side of Owensville. Trees were down between Jefferson and Madison Avenues and power poles were down at Benton Street and Lincoln Avenue.

Thunderstorm winds caused damage in the Owensville area. Trees and power lines were down mainly on the north side of town. Just east of town, a hay barn was destroyed and the tin roof of a shed was missing.
