Power may not be restored until next week for some in southeast Michigan
More than 800,000 initially were without power after two days of storms and high temperatures.
Most of Paw Paw, parts of Van Buren County left without power | WWMT
A large chunk of Van Buren County, including Paw Paw and Mattawan, were left without power Saturday night and Consumers Energy was working to find a cause as of 11 p. m. According to the Consumers Energy outage map, 661 of Paw Paw's 692 customers were left without power and an additional 753 out of 1,192 in Mattawan were affected as well. 1,072 of the 1,914 in Gobles were also powerless. Debra Dodd, a spokesperson with Consumers Energy, said the cause is currently unknown.

A 69 mph wind gust was measured in Bloomingdale. Numerous trees and power lines were blown down with some trees blocking roads. A tree was reported down on a house as well.
