Dispatch relayed a report of a tree blown down onto a power line and garage near Honeybee, resulting in a structural fire.
The county Highway Dept. reported that up to 2 inches of sleet and between a tenth and a quarter of an inch of freezing rain had accumulated across the county. The freezing rain coated trees and power lines. The weight of the ice downed trees and power lines across the northern part of the county leading to power outages there.
Tree limbs as big as a person's arm were blown down into a yard in Pine Knot. Power was out across the area.
Power lines and telephone lines were blown down near Stearns.
