June 22, 2011 - Thunderstorm Wind

A severe thunderstorm uprooted several trees, snapped others and tore down tree limbs along Marsh Creeek Road and Sunset Boulevard in Preston. Power lines were also knocked down and outages in the area lasted into the afternoon of the 22nd.

A severe thunderstorm knocked down a couple of trees and power lines in and around Preston.

The second severe thunderstorm of the day knocked down several more trees and wires across the southern tier of Caroline County. The wind damage though was worst when the first squall line came through. About 1,100 homes and businesses lost power because of the series of thunderstorms throughout the day on the 4th in Caroline County.
