Low pressure deepened over eastern Colorado and moved eastward along a stationary front into southern Illinois through the morning of the 9th before the front moved south of the Ozarks. Strong to severe storms moved over the region during the early morning of the 9th. Hail up the golf ball size occurred in Barry County southeast of Cassville, and several locations along the south of Highway 60 reported wind damage to trees and powerlines. Several rounds of rainfall led to flooding near Ava and Mountain Grove in Douglas County, near Sycamore and Hardenville in Ozark County, and near Bradleyville in Taney County.
A storm system brought primarily freezing rain to the region beginning overnight January 16 and then transitioning to all rain by the afternoon of January 17. Flat ice accumulations ranged from a trace up to 0.30���. Some sporadic power outages were reported. Some snow was also reported, but little if any accumulation.
Two separate Low Top Supercell thunderstorm complex's moved through the Ozarks. The first, during the early morning hours produced hail up to golf balls in size, damaging straight line winds and an EF-0 tornado as it moved through the Missouri Ozarks. The EF-0 tornado downed trees and power lines northwest of Camdenton Missouri. The second complex later produced several reports of large hail.
A pulse thunderstorm developed over southern Greene County, producing wind damage from the Wilson's Creek National Battlefiled to Republic. Trees, power poles, and several road signs were damaged. Other storms developed in Barry and Barton counties, producing marginally severe weather.
Scattered severe thunderstorms developed during the late afternoon and early evening of 8 July. These storms mainly produced damaging downburst winds, knocking over trees and power lines. Approximately 30 boat docks near Grand Glaze Bridge were damaged overturned on Lake of the Ozarks from a more intense microburst.

Precipitation started as rain during the early afternoon of January 24th before changing over to snow during the late afternoon, with the snow then continuing into the late morning of January 25th. Widespread snow amounts between 4 and 6 inches fell across the county. A public report of a measured storm total of 6.0 inches of snow was received from Strafford, with a measured 5.7 inches at the NWS Springfield office and 4.5 inches from a public report in Walnut Grove. Roads became snow covered and slippery, with a one vehicle accident resulting in two injuries as a vehicle slid off of Interstate 44 and overturned about 3.5 miles north of Republic. Around 950 power outages also occurred across the county due to the heavy snow. Some schools had early release on January 24th, with numerous schools closed on January 25th.
