Numerous trees and tree branches were blown down, including a branch that brought power lines down and caused a fire at a house on North Street. Crops were flattened by strong thunderstorm winds as well.

Approximately 15 power poles were blown down along Old Route 66 from the Veterans Parkway overpass paralleling I-55 until the first railroad crossing. One rail crossing sign was broken as well.
