Thunderstorms developed during the afternoon and evening. An isolated thunderstorm over Allegany County produced winds gusting to 60 mph. The strong winds downed trees and power lines. Alma Hill Road was blocked by fallen trees.

June 22, 2006

Thunderstorms developed in a warm, moist flow ahead of an approaching cold front. The winds from one thunderstorm downed trees and power lines in Bolivar and Andover as it crossed Allegany county.

August 12, 2005

Severe storms developed along a cold front downing trees and power lines and spawning a weak tornado north of Wellsville, near Madison Hill Road. Damage was minor, mainly downed trees.

An isolated thunderstorm crossed Allegany county during the early morning hours. Several trees and power lines fell. One tree tipped over a pop-up camper. The teenage girl sleeping inside suffered minor injuries. Another tree which fell nearby caused structural damage to the wall of a house.

Severe thunderstorms crossed Allegany county during the afternoon hours. The high winds downed trees and power lines in Belfast. Several houses were damaged and two cars were flattened. A girl was struck by a falling tree limb. The injury was minor, requiring stitches.
