Strong thunderstorm winds knocked down numerous power lines across the city of Wilkes-Barre. Over 500 customers were without power.
Tree fell over a utility wire on Bear Creek Boulevard. 10 customers lost power.
A roof was blown off a house as well as roof damage to a business from thunderstorm winds. Also numerous trees and wires were reported down across the northern portion of the county. There was also some damage to buildings and vehicles from falling trees and limbs. 10000 people left without power.
